Seeing "Jesusman"

Knowing that Superman,

seen twice,

is interesting.

Jesus told his friend

about vitamins.

Lord Jesus saw chewables

and gel-caps

such as we sea folk could not imagine.

But he never asked me

to live alone.

His work began at dawn.

Chasing the moon-

only to depart after lunch.

The luncheon speaker wanted to be

on the record.

He asked us all to leave our plates full.

"Send that letter out in the morning."

"Jesus said

the pudding

was sugar free."

My lips quivered

When she asked me

To bear her child.
