Since I'll be in Florida on the campaign trail, I'll tell you what I want - 15 minutes alone with a roast beef sandwich (on a sub roll with lettuce, tomato, mayo and cheddar cheese), sour cream and onion chips and two beers. Sure, I'd love to have some hot soup and my wife's company as much as always, but that's not happening, so I'm hoping for the next best thing.

Well after I find out if we won, lost, or need a recount, I will drink excessively. when I wake up tired and beaten up by the campaign, I go to some classy glass-plated shiny diner a few miles from the turnpike and get French toast or pancakes and 3 cups of coffee. Someday I might advance and get scrambled eggs. If I could make my own pancakes, I still wouldn't.

In strict observance of Election Day, I will be sustaining myself on a diet of Velveeta quesadillas, baby carrots, and washing it all down with a big Dr. Pepper. And, by Dr. Pepper, I mean Kirin
