Godzilla, Mr. Joshua Create TV Show, "Bob Costas Flips Out"

WASHINGTRON, DC-- In a conversation during half time of one of many recent March Madness related meetings, Evil Robots CEO and Co-Founder Godzilla and his Special Assistant, Mr. Joshua, conceived of a concept for a new and possibly revolutionary television program. The name of this show would be "Bob Costas Flips Out".

During the original pitch, Godzilla laid the show out this way:

"It's Costas and a camera. There is nothing else in the room. Unless he decides he needs to flip out in public. Basically, he gets all cranked up on meth and entertains himself for our benefit. Often he would just sit in a corner of mirror lined room and hold conversations with himself."

"That would be worth watching," he emphasized.

He continued by saying," Sometimes it's just Costas yelling at a camera. Most often it's Costas sitting in a swivel chair interviewing himself (because he loves himself so much that nothing is more interesting to him than himself). Maybe sometimes it's Costas going into a diner and clearing of a table and starting a fight."

Godzilla further elaborated with, "Whatever it is, the show has to start out with Costas talking to the camera in complete composure. After a brief intro he will show clips of the last show and apologize for his "deplorable" behavior. He will say he is feeling much better now and he won't let it happen again. Then by the first commercial break, he will start to flip out. Cut to the first commercial right after he punches somebody out of the blue or manifests some sort of deviant behavior."

"It could be the best show ever!" he concluded.

Mr. Joshua agreed and added that, "Special Guest Stars would also be needed from time to time. The interview starts out tame, and then all of the sudden Sports Boy puts on his cape (he is only allowed to use his cape when he becomes his alter ego, Sports Boy; defender of all things sports) and then flips out."

He then deemed that, "Appropriate guests could be Mike Tyson, Don King, Marv Albert, his drug dealer (AKA Darryl Strawberry), and so on and so forth."

"Indeed," concurred Godzilla.

"In fact," he went on to say, "one time he will be interviewing Bud Selig and he will become overcome with rage and attack him with a knife. He'll get all stabby and ginsu Selig up and then drink his blood. After Selig is mostly dead, he will take a dump on Seligs face and say 'that's for all you baseball fans out there.'"

It was then determined that this show will be the most highly rated series ever.

"Yes," they agreed, "shenanigans would abound."

When asked for comment, Evil Robots Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief Grandpa said, "If the Costas show was based on him telling people why they needed to be hit over the head with a bat, I am sure that I would watch it."
