Get ready for summer with the latest insults and slang, straight from Insultcon '99! And get ready to be called a "Jackwad", "buttflake", or (this year's best of show) "ass-ninja" by the most "with-it" teens and pre-teens as this 3-day conference comes to a close in beuatiful Port St. Lucie.

Insultcon was founded 7 years ago to combat the decreased efficacy of common slang. "Jerk", "Dufus", and even the dreaded "Asshole", while devastating for many years, failed to cause the desired consternation in this era of MTV, Marilyn Manson, and the Starr Report. It was decided by the 1992 Congress of Seventh Graders to institute a yearly convention to promote the discovery and implementation of even more powerful insults.

It's serious business, too. Since the failure of "bullshithead", the Insultcon board has instituted a strict policy of review including the removal of any members deemed unworthy.

Highlights included a lifetime acheivement award for "Butt Pirate", as well as a touching memorial service for "be-yoch"
